doublefly: this dragonfly allowed me to get very close.. i actually took about 12 shots of it but these two were the best i got. along with about 20 mosquito bites. sweden is a dangerous place! doublefly:

Homemade Soda Bread: Made some bread tonight and used it as a good excuse to test out my new-old manual 1.8f 50mm Nikon lens on my 350d (thanks Dad!) Handily replaces my broken 1.8f 50mm Canon lens. Will let you know how the bread tastes tomorrow. Homemade Soda Bread:

Standing on the Shoulders of Giants: Well Captain fans.. as I’m sure most of you are aware I have been incredibly lax in keeping up with my 365 project. Several things have contributed to this but suffice it to say that the project will not be continuing in the previous format. The main reason being the quality of photos was diminishing and the main aim of the project was to improve my work. So - Captain Morgan will still have his adventures but they will not be as regular - but hopefully better for it! Standing on the Shoulders of Giants:

So - Captain Morgan will still have his adventures but they will not be as regular - but hopefully better for it!

Muddy Adventures: Captain Morgan and Cousin Vinnie went for an adventurous walk the other day - and found them selves wading through a muddy river, Vinnie thought it felt like they were on a film set for a World War II film. Captain thought Vinnie was being silly. Taken with my new 50mm 1.8f Nikon lens on my Canon - great little lens! Need a service as it’s been laid about in my Dad’s draw on his old Nikon manual for ages, but a great addition to my collection! Muddy Adventures:

fortysix | tilt-shifted: Today Captain Morgan joined me and my friend Max on a photography trip with a tilt-shift lens that Max had rented for a few days. It’s a CRAZY bit of kit, but a lot of fun (if a little mind bending). This is a very quick snap of the Captain, more shots to follow (if and when I get time to put them up). MUST View On Black BIG fortysix | tilt-shifted:

Not THAT drunk. the zoom isn’t down to my drunkeness, the idea is.. it was amazing in my head when I thought of it on the bus on the way back from the pub. didn’t quite come out as planned/was in my head. fortyfive | zoooooom!:
